As an Internal Account Manager you will:

  • Partner with Major Account Managers in a pivotal support role to achieve internal goals and customer requirements

  • Provide exceptional levels of customer service by managing key Enterprise Accounts via various communication channels (email, phone and live message)

  • Resolve enquiries promptly, competently, professionally and deliver on customer commitments

  • Prepare reporting for customers by proactively monitoring their daily freight movements to ensure deliveries are streamlined accurately nationwide

  • Escalate high priority issues when required relating to all aspects of your accounts

  • Build solid long-term relationships with your dedicated accounts across a broad range of industries and national transport providers

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience in Transport & Logistics industry – either in Customer Support / Bookings is preferred but not required

  • Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite

  • Previous exposure to CRM systems (e.g. Salesforce or similar an advantage) – not essential

  • Strong written, verbal communication and problem-solving skills

  • A high level of motivation and energy with a strong focus on achieving outstanding customer experience results
